Feed Energy Introduces “Fat System Pros” Program
Feed Energy has announced the formation of the Fat System Pros, a team of trained professionals who will travel to feed mill locations throughout the Midwest to service liquid fat systems.
“Best Buy has the Geek Squad, and we figured feed mills could use the same type of support to ensure their systems are always operating efficiently,” said Mike Shindelar, Executive Director of Feed Energy.
The reality is that many fat systems are in a state of major disrepair due to corrosion, small leaks Tank Monitoringand wear and tear. These issues turn into major costs if not addressed immediately. Feed Energy’s Fat System Pros will go out to a location and conduct a full system analysis, calibration, clean up and repair to ensure the mill is operating efficiently, saving money and reducing down time.
“The last thing any feed mill wants is for their fat system to shut them down,” said Jake Rouse, Feed Energy’s account manager. “We are putting resources behind this initiative so that Feed Energy can continue to provide an astounding level of service to our customers.”
One product the Fat System Pros will be offering is remote Tank Monitoring systems. Utilizing state of the art equipment and a web interface, Feed Energy and the customer location can monitor and report on volume levels, temperature and tank conditions at any moment. When indications show low tank levels, Feed Energy can automatically dispatch a truck to the feed mill location.
“The quick response and constant monitoring allows Feed Energy to catch any potential issues thatMike Van Weelden may be happening, or are about to happen, with the liquid fat system before any production time is lost,” said Mike Van Weelden, a Fat System Pro.
