ChromaDex® and Platinum Performance® Collaborate on Development of Platinum Longevity(TM), an Equine Supplement Featuring the Novel Ingredient pTeroGold(TM)
Equine Clinical Study will Further Evaluate the Product’s Effects on Oxidative Stress, Inflammation
ChromaDex Corp. CDXC +0.15% , an innovative natural products company and marketer of patented pTeroPure®, today announced that they have formed an exclusive collaboration with Platinum Performance® to create Platinum Longevity(TM). This equine supplement features ChromaDex’s novel ingredient pTeroGold that was launched earlier this month.
pTeroGold is a blend of pTeroPure and ChromaDex’s Curcumin. pTeroPure is a proprietary formulation of the antioxidant compound pterostilbene, which is found naturally in blueberries and has been shown to be up to seven times more bioavailable than resveratrol, another well-known compound with antioxidant activity. Curcumin is an antioxidant naturally found in turmeric and has been shown to have anti-inflammatory and anti-aging properties. Platinum Longevity(TM), with pTeroGold’s powerful antioxidants, supports the horse’s ability to cope with oxidative stress and helps support healthy levels of inflammation.
